Attempted Photography

Wed Aug 12, 2009, 7:35 PM
So, I bought a new camera back when my taxes came back. I really needed a new one; my old one was given to me when I had just graduated high school as my graduation present, and while it is a good camera, it couldn't take the pictures that I knew I wanted to take.

So I went out, looked at some cameras and tested them out in store before settling on a Kodak Easy Share, 10 MP. It has a 12x Optical (and I think 4x Digital) zoom, has many different functions, and can handle wide-range landscape shots all the way down to macro shots. I realize it is not a D/SLR, however it is what I was able to afford at the time.

What I didn't realize, however, is that without manually changing the settings, my pictures would be grainy.

I haven't had any of my pictures printed for fear of this dilemma, so I am offering up my feeble attempts to the masses for critique. So, Photography friends.. Any pointers for a wanna-be?

Sorry for the mass upload; I have several different styles that I am trying.

Any help will be massively appreciated!!
